Five well-known herbs, including tongkat ali and ashwagandha, all listed with doses. The problem is how small those doses are. Here is what is really inside.

Quick verdict

Vigortrix uses popular, reasonably studied herbs like tongkat ali and ashwagandha, and the label shows every dose. But each ingredient is at a fraction of the amounts used in research, so we would not expect noticeable changes in energy, drive or performance from the capsule alone.

What Is Vigortrix?

Vigortrix is a dietary supplement sold online as a “men’s vitality” formula, aimed at men who feel their energy, drive and confidence have dropped with age. Each bottle has 30 capsules, and the label suggests one capsule a day with water, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. The label lists a distributor in Ogden, Utah.

The formula has five plant ingredients: turmeric, beet root, nettle root, ashwagandha and tongkat ali. Two of them, tongkat ali and ashwagandha, have the most research related to men’s energy, stress and hormone health, so we looked closely at their doses.

Pros and Cons

👍 What we like

  • Clear label with five ingredients and their doses.
  • Includes tongkat ali and ashwagandha, two of the better-studied herbs in this category.
  • No caffeine or stimulants.
  • One capsule a day.
  • 60-day money-back guarantee and one-time payment.

👎 What to keep in mind

  • Tongkat ali (50 mg) and ashwagandha (50 mg) are below the doses used in most studies.
  • Turmeric and beet root are present in very small amounts.
  • Extracts are listed by ratio, not by active compounds.
  • $1.63 to $2.97 per day is expensive for these amounts.
  • Uses a bovine gelatin capsule (not vegetarian).

Ingredient by Ingredient

Tap each ingredient to see what it does and what the research says at the dose in Vigortrix.

🌳 Tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia) — 50 mg, 10:1 extract

Tongkat ali is a Southeast Asian root studied for men’s energy, stress, mood and testosterone in men with low levels, with modest and mixed results. Studies typically used about 200 to 400 mg a day of a standardized extract. Vigortrix provides 50 mg of a 10:1 extract, and the label does not show how much of the active compounds it contains, so it is likely below the studied range.

🌱 Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) — 50 mg, 20:1 extract

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen with some of the better research for stress and sleep, and a few studies in men looked at strength and testosterone. Those studies typically used about 300 to 600 mg of a standardized extract daily for 8 to 12 weeks. 50 mg is well below that. Ashwagandha is not suitable for everyone, including people with thyroid conditions.

🍃 Nettle root (Urtica dioica) — 50 mg, 4:1 extract

Nettle root has mostly been studied for urinary symptoms related to an enlarged prostate, usually at 300 to 600 mg of extract. At 50 mg, it is unlikely to do much.

🟠 Turmeric root powder — 150 mg

Plain turmeric powder contains only about 3% curcumin, so 150 mg provides roughly 4 to 5 mg of curcumin. Research on curcumin generally used 500 mg or more, often with absorption enhancers.

🟣 Beet root powder — 150 mg

Beet is popular for its natural nitrates, which can support blood flow. But studies on exercise and blood pressure used beet juice or concentrates with far more nitrate than 150 mg of beet powder provides.

What the Sales Page Says vs. What We Found

📣 The claim

The main sales page talks about helping men reclaim energy, drive and confidence. Some testimonials on the order page go further, describing dramatic changes in sexual performance and relationships.

🔎 What we found

The ingredients have some research for energy, stress and hormone health, but at higher doses. There is no published study on Vigortrix, and nothing on the label suggests it can solve sexual performance problems.

Our view: if you are dealing with low energy, low drive or performance issues, it is worth talking to a doctor. These can be signs of conditions like low testosterone, diabetes, heart disease or depression, which are worth checking and can be treated.

Is Vigortrix a Fit for You?

Answer three quick questions:

Question 1 of 3

Safety and Possible Side Effects

Talk to a doctor before taking Vigortrix if you:

  • Take medicine for blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid, mood, sleep or erectile dysfunction.
  • Have a thyroid condition, an autoimmune disease or liver problems (ashwagandha has been linked to rare liver issues).
  • Have prostate cancer or another hormone-sensitive condition (tongkat ali and nettle may affect hormones).
  • Are under 18 (the label says it is not for them).
  • Are scheduled for surgery.

At these doses, side effects are uncommon, but some people notice stomach upset, sleepiness from ashwagandha or trouble sleeping from tongkat ali. Do not exceed one capsule a day.

Vigortrix FAQ

What is Vigortrix?

Vigortrix is a once-a-day capsule sold online as a men’s vitality formula. It contains turmeric root powder, beet root powder, nettle root extract, ashwagandha root extract and tongkat ali root extract.

Does Vigortrix work?

No study has tested Vigortrix itself. Tongkat ali and ashwagandha have some research for energy, stress and hormone health, but at higher doses than the 50 mg of each in one Vigortrix capsule. We would not expect noticeable changes from the capsule alone.

Does Vigortrix increase testosterone?

There is no evidence that Vigortrix does. Some studies found modest testosterone increases with tongkat ali or ashwagandha, mainly in men with low levels, at doses several times higher. If you think your testosterone may be low, a simple blood test from your doctor is the best way to find out.

Is Vigortrix safe?

The doses are low, but talk to your doctor first if you take prescription medicine, have a thyroid, liver, prostate or hormone-related condition, or are scheduled for surgery. The label says it is not for people under 18.

How much does Vigortrix cost?

On the official order page: 1 bottle for $89 plus $9.99 shipping, 3 bottles for $207 ($69 each) or 6 bottles for $294 ($49 each), with free US shipping on the larger packages. That is about $1.63 to $2.97 per day.

Does Vigortrix have a money-back guarantee?

Yes. The official order page offers a 60-day money-back guarantee on every order, and it is a one-time payment.

Final Verdict

Vigortrix picks sensible ingredients for a men’s vitality formula and shows every dose on the label. But those doses are where it falls short: tongkat ali and ashwagandha are below the amounts used in research, and turmeric, beet and nettle are present in very small amounts.

If you want a simple herbal capsule and you are in good health, Vigortrix is an option with a 60-day refund window. If low energy, low drive or performance issues are affecting your life, please talk to a doctor. These symptoms can have real, treatable causes, and a check-up will do more for you than any supplement.
